Brisbane, Australia: PSANZ 2025
The annual PSANZ congress (Perinatal Society of Australia & NZ) takes place in Brisbane (Meeanjin), Queensland, Australia, from the 16-19 March at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre . Pre-congress meetings take place from 14-16 March. The 2025 theme is 'Navigating Futures Together'.
The theme represents the often-uncharted road we take as perinatal researchers, clinicians, and consumers toward new knowledge to drive improvements and reform in perinatal health. It also speaks to the journey of the woman/pregnant person, navigating their new future as a parent with a newborn and all that is represented for the families who remain at the heart of all we do. This conference focuses on meeting the national maternity safety ambition, to halve rates of perinatal mortality from 2010 to 2025 in the UK, and ensure adherence to the Saving Babies Lives Version 3 Care Bundle. The Summit for Perinatal Excellence (formerly The Stillbirth Summit, and now part of the International Partnership for Perinatal Excellence) is taking place from 18-21 June 2025 in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA. This conference has a focus on prevention and has a unique format which includes bereaved parents and families. The abstract deadline is 21st December 2024, and registrations are open now. The ISPID (International Society for the Study and Prevention of Perinatal and Infant Death) International Conference will be held in San Diego, California from October 9th – 12th, 2025. The theme for the conference is Fostering Unity for Infant and Child Survival: Collaborative Approaches Across Diverse Communities. They are calling for scientists, researchers, medical professionals, advocates, and parents from around the globe to come together to share knowledge, connect with colleagues and honor all the babies and children who are no longer with us.
